hello friends Thanks for ur previus replies . i am facing another problem .
if u all give it a reading and give me some sujjestion
i have an xml file like this
<queries>
<query id=11>/person/student[name="ggg"]</query>
<query id=12>/person/student[name="ggg"]</query>
<query id=13>/person/student[phone="324234"]</query>
<queries>
Now when user gives any query i want that his query should be compared with
existing queries in the file above based on predicates

how can i separate/identify different predicates from different queries .

do I have to convert every query into a JDOM tree ???
