J2EEPATTERNS-INTEREST Digest - 5 Jul 2004 to 12 Jul 2004 (#2004-95)Seems like a
job for Oracle Parallel Server. The fact that you are using two or more
databases should be basically transparent to the EJB. It will just faithfully
synchronize with the database for all changes. You might have to restart the
App Server in case of failover. The replication within different instances or
schemas of database has to be handled by db in different ways and combinations.
Just check the relevant websphere redbooks for WebSphere with Oracle Parallel
Server (OPS) and Real Application Cluster (RAC) or if are using DB2 then the
DB2 parallel sever sections.
