I was wondering whether there is any pattern for servicing user requests
with different levels of priorities?

Say you are receiving requests from various sources and each source has a
different SLA (which say corresponds to a different priority). Is there
any pattern which ensures that 'higher' priority requests get serviced
faster than the lower priority ones?
