in my project I updated from jdom b9 to b10, and out of the blue sky I
get compilation errors (method signature changed: Element.getParent()).
Is that "Parent" interface here to stay or is it possible that future
versions are compatible to my source code again?

Introducing the Parent interface would completely change my code!
